We moved in next door to Heddy in 1991, I was 24 at the time. The back yard of our new home was all one big garden. We put sod down on most of it but left part for a small vegetable garden. I prepared the soil and planted the garden. Heddy watched all of this with interest being an avid gardener herself. When my garden all came up and I had proven my skills, a friendship developed.
